FACING GIANTS

Wow..this 21-day Boot Camp has been an incredible experience so far. I am getting to learn different techniques that I have never even heard of before. This post will be about days 5-7.

BOOT CAMP DAY 4 Thursday
My muscles are sore today. The exercises are a bit more intense and I am sure there is more to come as we are expected to reach a little further and dig a little deeper. This evening started out with some bible study, videos, and just reviewing things..We went over some of the core scriptures. When I looked at the clock, an hour had past. Was I gonna get a break tonight and be able to rest my muscles? No...We still had a work out and what happened was we went over about 30 minutes. It was Tabata! Boy that is a killer workout. We still put in our time! Master G. announced the upcoming weekend workout options..
Friday night....Bridge Run to establish personal record #2
Saturday...Kickboxing Class and Make-up Class (for those that take Karate)
Sunday...Exercise at home..Bible Study..or rest..This is the Lord's Day

BOOT CAMP DAY 7 Saturday
Bridge run went well...not everyone showed up, but for those that wanted to run it was nice. My hubby even came along. The boys were with friends. I improved my run time again which means I moving forward..I am really beginning to fall in love with the process. We did a little bit of excercise after the run..some sprints and stretching, etc...I was even given the opportunity to speak with some of the Boot Campers about my weight loss and tell some of my story. If it helps even one other person to take that next step in inproving their better overall health, that would be awesome.
